Ronnie Araya is a Chilean architect. During the last 5 years he had worked as a Research Associate with the professor Mark West, designing and building projects and prototypes of different scales. These concrete structures were formed in flexible molds at C.A.S.T. (Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada).This work has relation to academia, concrete building industry and architecture practice.

In Chile Ronnie Araya was part the Faculty of Architecture at the Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso, as well as a member of the creative team in the experimental school “Open City”, where he worked on design and realization of full-scale experimental projects to engage natural site conditions.

As a practicing architect, he worked 4 years at the Municipality of Valparaiso, developing the wide range of projects from concept to realization, and addressing diverse social spaces and conditions.
